Back on October 2, 2021 I dedicated a Saturday to visit wineries in Quebec with a friend.
Our first stop was at the beautiful exceptional site, a breathtaking view, a magnificent and modern cellar - Léon Courville Vigneron, winemaker, on Chemin Brome in Fulford. Given the Covid pandemic restrictions in place, we enjoyed our wine tasting outside while admiring the beautiful view. Very tasty wines and very well organized.
We then moved on to Vignoble La Bauge on Avenue des Érables in Brigham where we enjoyed a pairing of 5 wines with a platter of local cheeses and charcuterie.
Our next stop was Val Caudalies on Rue Principale in Dunham. Here our wine tasting of several of their wines took place on their beautiful patio.
From Val Caudalies we did a quick stop at Les Trois Clochers on Rue Bruce in Dunham.
Our fifth stop was Domaine des Côtes d'Ardoise also on Rue Bruce in Dunham. This is the oldest winery in Quebec.
We then made our way to Domaine du Ridge on Chemin Ridge in Saint-Armand where there too we had a wine pairing with some local cheeses and charcuterie.
Our final stop was Vignoble de l’Ardennais on Chemin Ridge in Stanbridge. The variety of wines at the winery is incredible. It is a must stop!
Overall, it was a great Saturday discovering great delicious wines produced right here in Quebec.
Are you familiar with any wine from Quebec? What’s your favourite?
